A short history
Red River Quilters is a non-profit organization formed in 1983. Our purpose is to promote quilt appreciation, preservation & education. We provide a place for quilters to come together for fellowship, inspiration and a shared love of the craft as well as service projects to serve our community.
We have monthly meetings which include a short business meeting, a quilting-related program and Show & Tell of members’ quilts. We also put on a quilt show in conjunction with the Red River Revel Arts Festival each fall. Periodically we offer quilting workshops with a nationally known quilter. There are also numerous “satellite” groups (known as Tributaries) who meet more frequently to sew together. Further information about all of these activities is available by clicking on the menus at left. Please take a minute to learn about all we offer.
However, when all is said and done, we are simply a group of people who love quilts!
