Welcome to Red River Quilters

Red River Quilters is a non-profit organization formed in March of 1983 to:

  • Promote the appreciation and preservation of quilts

  • Encourage the art of quilting

  • Foster charitable endeavors

  • Provide a forum for quilters and quilt lovers to share their common interest in the art of quilting

We are based in the Shreveport/Bossier City area of Northwest Louisiana with many members hailing from the extended Ark-La-Tex region. Typically, our membership numbers at least 225 by the end of each year.

Quilt Show Registration Deadline is July 23

Quilt Show Entries can be registered in person at Haughton Quilters Tributary (Southern Methodist Church 4206 US-80, Haughton, LA) on Wednesday, July 23 between 9 am to Noon.

Quilt Show Entries can be registered digitally by midnight by Wednesday, July 23. Entries will need a digital picture of quilt & Entry Form.

Additional Information

- You must be a RRQ Member to enter quilts - Items can be unfinished for picture to be taken & quilt entered. - One Form per One Item Entered - Quilt must be delivered with hanging sleeve sewn onto quilt by Tuesday, September 9 between 9am & Noon @ Louisiana State Fairgrounds, Ag. Building.
